About Us
Youth Care Africa
Youth Care Africa is a youth-serving organization committed to empowering young people to become changemakers who identify and address pressing social, economic, health, education, and environmental challenges within their communities. At the core of our approach, we engage young people from diverse communities, build their capacity, and support them to design and implement sustainable, youth-led initiatives that respond to real community needs and create lasting impact.
Since its establishment, we have been working closely with young people and communities through a capacity-building and action-oriented approach. We engage youth through training, mentorship, and peer learning, equipping them with skills in education, health advocacy, climate action, digital literacy, leadership, and community engagement.
We then support them to design and implement initiatives such as awareness campaigns, academic support programs, community outreach, and environmental activities, enabling them to take ownership of solutions and drive meaningful, sustainable impact within their communities.

Young people become climate action leaders by gaining the knowledge, skills, and awareness needed to understand environmental challenges and take meaningful action within their communities. Through capacity-building, mentorship, and hands-on experiences, they are empowered to identify local climate issues, design practical solutions, and lead initiatives that promote environmental sustainability and resilience.
As climate action leaders, they drive community-based efforts such as tree planting, environmental conservation, climate awareness campaigns, and sustainable practices that address the impacts of climate change. They also mobilize and inspire their peers to take collective action, amplifying local voices and contributing to long-term, community-driven solutions that protect the environment and promote a more sustainable future.
