Youth Care Africa is a youth-serving organization advancing education, health and well-being of adolescents and young people. We work to ensure that young people have access to quality education, accurate health information, essential services, and opportunities that enable them to make informed decisions and reach their full potential.

Through youth-centered programs, capacity building, community engagement, health promotion, and education initiatives, we equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to address challenges affecting their lives and communities. We believe that when young people are informed, empowered, and given meaningful opportunities to participate, they can become active leaders in creating healthier, more educated, and resilient communities.

Our work responds to challenges that can limit young people’s opportunities and well-being, including limited access to education and health information, teenage pregnancies, HIV and STIs, mental health challenges, gender-based violence, menstrual health challenges, and other barriers that threaten their well-being and development.
