Youth Care Changemakers are young people within the Youth Care Africa network who are committed to identifying challenges affecting adolescents and young people and taking action to address them. They use their knowledge, skills, experiences, creativity, and passion to create positive change in their communities, particularly around issues affecting young people’s health, education, rights, well-being, and opportunities.

Through the Youth Care Changemakers Program, young people receive opportunities for capacity building, mentorship, leadership development, networking, and youth-led action. They are supported to develop ideas, lead initiatives, engage their peers, advocate for issues that matter to young people, and contribute to community solutions. They are young people who turn ideas into action and use their voices and leadership to create meaningful change.
