Youth Care Africa is a youth-serving organization committed to empowering young people to become changemakers who identify and address pressing social, health, education, and environmental challenges within their communities. At the core of our approach, we engage young people from diverse communities, build their capacity, and support them to design and implement sustainable, youth-led initiatives that respond to real community needs and create lasting impact.
Youth Care Africa was founded in 2023 by Onsombi Geoffrey, a passionate educator and youth advocate to address pressing social, health, and education challenges affecting young people within communities. The organization was established to address gaps in access to quality education, youth-friendly health information, and opportunities for meaningful youth engagement in solving community issues.
Recognizing the potential of young people as drivers of change, Youth Care Africa was created to empower them with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to take action. By focusing on capacity building and youth-led solutions across education, health, digital skills, and climate action, the organization aims to enable young people to identify challenges, design practical solutions, and create lasting impact within their communities.
Youth Care Africa welcomes young people, health professionals, students, and community volunteers who are passionate about creating social and economic impact within their communities. Anyone aged between 18 and 35 years
