Period Power Festival is an annual initiative led by young menstrual health champions at youth care Africa created to celebrate, educate, and empower girls around menstrual health and hygiene. The festival acknowledges the strength and resilience of girls who navigate their periods every month, while breaking the stigma and taboos associated with menstruation.

Through interactive workshops, peer-led discussions, educational campaigns, and community activities, the festival promotes menstrual health literacy, access to sanitary products, and self-confidence. It provides a safe and inclusive space for girls to share experiences, learn about their bodies, and advocate for menstrual equity.
